My name is Tina Newman (...previously Ives before I married my lovely husband!!) and I am a freelance makeup artist based in South East London.
I graduated in June 2009 from West Thames College where I achieved my HND in Specialist Makeup. This means I am trained in all aspects of the industry from Theatre, Fashion, Period Hair and Makeup to bald caps, hairstyling, bodypainting, wig dressing and barbering. I have also recieved training from Charles Fox in Casualty & Special Effects, Beauty/Bridal, Cosmetic Camouflage and Theatrical/Character Make up.
I was the winner of Carolyn Cowan's 2009 bodypaint competition which allowed me to attend her world renowned 2 day workshop where I received invaluable tips, training and advice. I set up my business as a freelance professional in 2009 and have done a lot of varied work from Television/Commercial and Photographic work to Children's Makeover Parties and Weddings. I now work freelance and am available for all occasions from Bridal, Pamper Parties, Hen Parties, Proms, Make Overs/Lessons, Themed Make up/Fancy Dress, Cosmetic Camouflage Makeup to Bodypainting.
